Who I Am...

Hey! Im Fernando Ramirez.  I was apart of an awesome team in Eugene(Team XO) and lived there for three years.  While in Eugene I learned a lot of myself, and testing my limits.  I went there with the intention on developing further and deeper in my running career, but instead found myself to be plagued by nagging injuries, later spending months catching up to everyone else in the field.  I had my great races and bad races.  I left Oregon with the intent on possibly moving back, and leaving behind a number of great friends and experiences.  Great training runs, grueling workouts on the track and on the Amazon trail.  Great mentors from Olympians, to good friends I could always rely on.  I am now back in UT training hard and racing well! I feel that I am back in my grove here and moving forward like I should be in my running career.  I have had a number of good races with some PR’s and getting closer to my goals.  I look forward to this year on the roads, and some on the track.  Met the girl of my dreams and life is good! I hope EVERYONE is in great health, and if not, hope you’re on your way to getting there! I hope training and life is going well for everyone.  If there is anything I can do for anyone, please let me know..

These years have been great. Running always has it's up's and down's, but nothing worth going for ever comes easy.  Since I last wrote, there have been a lot of changes- for the good.  Last year was my first year trail racing and I had a...

Fernando, you tweaked your ankle again? And I wasn't there for it? There is something wrong with that. lol By the way I think I saw you running with Will on your birthday, you guys were running towards Hayward from Alten Baker. I wanted to honk at your guys but by the time I realized it might have been you too, you guys were too far ahead and I was still stuck letting the students cross the road at the four way stop. Anyway, hope training is going well!
