Last Sat, July 14, Canyon to canyon half was awesome. Blessed to set a new Course Record.   Awesome day to run! The race started at 7 am. When the gun went off I was able t get going into a cadence, and welcome the morning through the beautiful trails and mountains. Every morning, The native americans of Utah and other southern tribes, would get up really early and run forever to the east. They did this to welcome the morning and thank the Creator for the new day.  I've done this for a while now, but on this morning, I felt more connected with everything around me. Filled with life, I remembered why I love running so much, even with the pressure of racing. The last mile was at a slight downhill which made things nice. Running in representing our dog sled company Luna Lobos Dog Sledding, made it all the better!
